Where is your favorite place? Why?

Anyplace I can swim. Growing up in Florida, I spent every day, all day in the water. Any place that I can jump in and swim is my happy place.

What is your guilty pleasure?

Trashy Romance Novels. Give me a good book and I’m set!

What is your favorite quote?

If you could pass on words of wisdom to someone in the beginning stages of their career, what would you share with them?

Take the time to connect and follow up with those connections. Also, do the “grunt” work. You’ll learn a ton and your boss will absolutely love you for taking something they probably hate doing off their plates!

How do you balance your personal life and work life?

I like to think of it more as a blending. If I attempt to keep them separate, I often fail. But, blended, I’m able to do my laundry in the middle of a “work day” and (pre-pandemic) travel and work from anywhere. I also make sure to take breaks and leave spaces (like Saturday’s) or the “dinner hours” for personal time.

What is your favorite thing about LVIMA?

I love that LVIMA feels like a family. Some of my best friends have come from LVIMA connections. Giving back to the community, learning, growing and evolving are also a few of my favorite things about LVIMA.
