Strike for Good: A Bowling & Giveback Bash!
Join us for a high-energy night where friendly competition meets meaningful impact! Teams will bowl their hearts out and help several local nonprofits, including Spread the Word Nevada and Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth.
This is your chance to make an impact and roll for glory! Additionally, the winning team will earn a $250 donation to the charity of their choice, because every great game can lead to real-world impact!
Grab your coworkers and encourage them to RSVP to help build your bowling team! Your team will consist of bowlers + impact makers.
Some FAQs
What Will Impact Makers Do?
We will be helping local youth have a great first month of school! We’ll be coloring motivational bookmarks and assembling “Sunshine Kits” of non-perishable food items for local homeless youth.
Do I Need to Bring Supplies for My Team?
Nope! Just bring your fabulous self! We’ll have all the supplies needed to assemble kits and create bookmarks. Make sure to wear socks if you want to bowl!
How Will My Team Win?
Your score will be made up of your bowling lane’s total score + 5 points for each bookmark made or Sunshine Kit assembled. The lane (aka team) with the highest score wins!
I Don’t Have a Team, But Want to Participate
No worries! When you check in, we’ll help you pick a team. No prior experience needed! Teams are made up of 4 Bowlers and at least 2 Impact Makers.
ABOUT OUR LOCAL NON PROFIT
Spread the Word Nevada is the state’s largest children’s literacy nonprofit, dedicated to advancing early childhood literacy by placing books into the and and homes of children within Nevada’s low-income communities. LVIMA is proud to partner with Spread the Word Nevada and through this event provide resources to wipe down and clean up donated books, allowing them to be ready to be distributed to the low-income communities they serve. A huge thank you to the Spread the Word Nevada team for bringing books to and from the venue, the nonprofit committee at LVIMA, and all our members and sponsors at this event for all their efforts to support such a worthwhile cause the directly benefits the Las Vegas community.
