Raise the Stakes Recap

Back to Blog

Our “Raise the Stakes” Breakfast sponsored by Eyeview did just that. Speaker Andrew Davis taught the audience how important it is for a video to raise questions, build suspense, create threats, expand the curiosity gap and then give closure. In realtime, he re-edited a frumpy, standard issue testimonial video into something that was much more interesting and engaging. This event was definitely instructive and packed with takeaways.

If you’re interested to learn more about Andrew, visit his website where you can learn more about his background, watch an awesome video or buy one of his books.

After Andrew Davis spoke, a panel of digital marketing experts brought their real-world knowledge of video marketing, personalization and more to the event. Panelists included:

  • Dina Sankari, VP of Client Solutions, Eyeview
  • Mamie Peers, VP of Digital Marketing, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
  • Joe Ward, Director of Hospitality Marketing, Caesars Entertainment

Raise the Stakes:

The psychological phenomenon brilliant brands use to turn video views into revenue.

We’re ready to raise the stakes and go all in on video. We want to create engaging videos, viral videos, videos that capture our audience’s attention. Unfortunately, our audience’s attention span is shorter than ever. So how do successful brands earn and maintain the attention of their video viewers? How do they create video after video that delivers real revenue results?

Maybe, just maybe, in our quest to make our videos consumable we’ve made our videos unwatchable. It turns out, the most successful video producers in the world don’t worry about how long their video is. Instead, they force the audience to chase answers.

In this exhilarating 45-minute keynote presentation, former television producer and bestselling author Andrew Davis will show you how to turn video duds into dynamite. You’ll be challenged to think like a reality tv editor, and he’ll show you the five things that brilliant businesses do to transform their videos from boring to brilliant. More importantly, you’ll learn the simple secret to creating videos that drive real revenue.

Are you ready to transform attention into revenue?!
