This event is devoted to the Las Vegas community and giving back as our group shows up, donates, and makes a difference. There are multiple ways to get involved and help. You can do any one or all of them and know that you are a part of something bigger.

Before we tell you about this event, let’s tell you about the non-profit this event will use to help funnel our efforts directly into the hands of those that need it most.

ABOUT OUR FEATURED NON-PROFIT | Shine A Light

LVIMA proudly partners with local nonprofits to bring awareness, support, and donations to serve our greater community. This year’s chosen non-profit is Shine A Light. Shine A Light is a 501(c)3 non-profit that helps hundreds of people living int he underground flood channels of Las Vegas. This year we are proudly partnering with them to bring donations and are hosting our first-ever in-person volunteer event to assemble items to be distributed directly. Item assembly occurs at their facility on Wednesdays from 4:30p to 6:30p. It is an assembly line event where items are packaged together for distribution. Distribution happens on Saturdays.

ABOUT NEEDED SUPPLIES

There are a variety of supplies that Shine A Light distributes. They are always in need of these supplies and donations can be sent directly to their Las Vegas office. Monetary donations are always welcome and allows for those dollars to stretch the farthest and provide the greatest benefit directly into the community. Different times of year offer different challenges. A list of the most needed products are available for purchase directly from our Amazon wishlist.
