The Opportunity:

The Advertising Sales Manager supports’s existing advertising partnerships and seeks to grow the partner marketplace annually.  By working with the Partner Services team, the Advertising Manager will target/pitch products to potential advertisers, while maintaining and upselling existing partnerships.  Operationally minded, a successful candidate will manage the end-to-end advertising relationship with our supply partners (show, attraction, hotel, air and tour) and work closely with the account management team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive and execute strategy for advertising partners, to grow Media business.
  • Create, define, and implement strategies to optimize each partner relationship, including conducting day-to-day interactions, regular face-to-face commercial updates, identifying and maximizing advertising and promotional opportunities, and ensuring fulfillment of all contractual obligations.
  • Provide partnerships with a consultative sales experience and build /enhance long-term strategic relationships with existing partnerships through up-selling, cross-selling, etc.
  • Lead all aspects of advertising operations from launching new advertisers to day-to-day performance of existing partnerships and influence across other functions (including internal supply teams, marketing, operations, billing, and product) to ensure campaign delivery and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Create a pipeline of opportunities that are managed & reviewed weekly/monthly/quarterly to ensure the pipeline is productive and yields profitable partnerships.
  • Review advertising contracts and insertion orders to minimize business and financial risks, drive for a solution when faced with challenges, and provide support for any related documents.
  • Perform revenue and billing review and reporting of advertising campaigns contracts and delivery to ensure accuracy and completion.

Who You Are:

  • This role requires a min 3 years of sales experience, Media Sales, travel industry or related field; or equivalent related professional experience and BA/BS degree or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated media sales experience is essential; and a passion for the travel industry is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the specific travel verticals (Show, Attraction, Hotel, and Airline, and/or Attractions) and digital and social media landscape.
  • History of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Effectively analyze partner needs and identify creative solutions.
