About the Job

We are looking for a seasoned Vice President (VP) of Marketing to lead and grow our marketing teams. You will design, implement, and manage strategic marketing programs that support our corporate goals. This individual will take on improving customer experiences across all our marketing platforms (email, video, 3D, and graphics content). You will collaborate with internal stakeholders (SEO, PPC, Merchandising, and Web Development), as well as external partners. Successful candidates are motivated, organized, and skilled at striking a balance between strategic planning and execution.

Day To Day Expectations

  • Lead, coach, and develop business teams.
  • Develop innovative ideas to connect customer needs with business objectives and goals.
  • Research and implement customer loyalty programs to improve customer retention.
  • Identify and research new revenue opportunities in current and potential markets.
  • Design and review the Marketing department’s budget.
  • Identify and implement key marketing technologies in support of company initiatives.
  • Work with the Marketing Coordinator and other stakeholders to create a monthly marketing calendar based on historical data and emerging trends.
  • Analyze the performance of vehicle segment promotions to assist with upcoming initiatives.
  • Guide the Email Marketing team in optimizing campaign strategies, including personalization and automation.
  • Work closely with email service providers to monitor and optimize email deliverability.
  • Help the Creative Marketing team improve processes and eliminate potential roadblocks.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements in performance through testing.
  • Enhance the video creation process to focus on micro conversions and assisted conversion growth.
  • Track best practices, monitor industry trends, and make recommendations for addressable channel growth.
  • Ensure all marketing programs are executed as planned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or another related field.
  • Experience: 7-10 years of related Marketing and leadership experience.
  • Specific Skills: Well-developed collaboration and coaching skills. Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and lead projects. The ability to operate on both strategic and tactical levels. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The ability to use data to drive effective business decisions. An internal and external customer focus. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to give compelling presentations. Strong level of influence and negotiation skills. Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, and flexibility in difficult situations. Ability to work with confidential information. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.:
    • Strong knowledge of functions within Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and social media platforms.
    • Ability to use project management software and strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
    • Passion for all things marketing and a habit of keeping up with trends.
    • Strong knowledge of UX & Web Analytics is a plus.
