We’re seeking a qualified candidate for an SEO strategist role within our Las Vegas, NV office. The SEO Strategist is the overarching voice of the SEO campaign. As an SEO Strategist, you will organize and manage resources to ensure a positive campaign performance. Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and execute SEO strategies for all assigned client partner accounts
- Manage/mentor Specialists by providing clear and concise direction, support, and the guidance necessary to ensure high-quality client deliverables
- Assist with the production of in-depth technical SEO audits and manage the ongoing technical optimization strategy
- Conduct keyword research to determine strategic keyword targets for client websites
- Write and optimize content for a variety of channels, including client blogs, client landing pages, social platforms, and native ads
- Upload and stage content for publication within client website content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, AEM, etc.)
- Contribute to REQ’s industry thought-leadership with support of internal marketing materials such as blogs and case studies
- Assist with the setup and management of performance and tracking software profiles for clients
- Assist with research and ideation for social media calendars and content strategy proposals
- Execute and/or provide departmental support with foundational deliverables such as keyword research, competitive analysis, on-page optimization recommendations, content and technical audits
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years of agency or in-house (client-side) experience
- A strong understanding of organic search and demonstrated success in SEO campaigns
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Intermediate-level understanding of HTML and basic working proficiency of common CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, Magento, Shopify)
- Possess a high level of professionalism and adaptability
- Experience with project management and/or time tracking tools such as Basecamp, Wrike, Workfront or TimeCamp
- Ability to multitask and adhere to strict deadlines
- Exhibition of management and mentorship qualities required to assist in developing junior staff
- Experience using the following tools and software: MS Office, Google Analytics, Google Search Console/Bing Webmaster Tools, SEMRush, MOZ, Screaming Frog, Brightlocal
- Experience with one or more of the following preferred, but not required:

- SEO Clarity
- Searchmetrics
- Conductor
- Netbase
