Position Summary

This position within the Marketing team will focus on creating brand campaigns for the growing Credit One Bank national brand. Working closely with the Marketing Senior Manager, the individual in this role will assist in the development and execution of strategic brand advertising programs across offline and online channels. The candidate must be able to place a strong emphasis on teamwork, integration, and developing informed points of view. This role will be a point of contact for Agency partners leading both media and back-end campaign implementation, while closely partnering with the analytics function for optimum measurement.

Summary Of Essential Job Functions

  • Manage day-to-day aspects of brand media in partnership with the agency, encompassing traditional media, connected TV, digital media formats, and emerging areas – ensuring campaign delivery on the business needs. Includes planning, buying, execution, and reporting.
  • Monitor and assess weekly reporting for insights on performance and analysis of campaigns across tactics and channels. Develop optimization recommendations and insights for future campaigns based on data-driven analysis of results.
  • Assist in the day-to-day implementation and management of national, spot market, and local brand campaigns across both media and creative disciplines
  • Understand Credit One Bank’s brand challenges and opportunities and how to innovate media-first campaigns to solve business problems
  • Develop briefs for agency partners that make the brand competitive, unique, and elevated, including go-to-market strategies for new product launches
  • Manage budget and expenses, focusing on CPM to measure and evaluate tactics
  • Understand and assist in integrated campaigns that are channel agnostic and most compelling to the message; will be the point of contact for all brand campaigns across TV, digital and experiential
  • Actively participate in the planning of integrated campaigns that are channel agnostic and most compelling to the message; bring unique media recommendations to support the programs
  • Collaborate with the digital acquisition marketing team for synergy and support to Brand TV campaigns
  • Collaborate with Analytics teams to understand trends in the business and develop insights that translate into actionable recommendations for growth
  • Influence research and surveys to better understand media impact
  • Support the Social team’s paid media needs, as assigned
  • Keep abreast of the advertising industry and emerging trends, both inside and outside the credit card category
  • Other brand strategy-related recommendations, as assigned
  • Ability to manage up and across the organization relevant and actionable information.
  • Be a collaborative “go-to” partner within an energetic and hard-working team of multi-disciplinary marketers and designers.
  • Elevate the “Brand Strategy” team as a company-wide resource for championing innovative and thoughtful work that moves the needle.
  • Percent of time spent traveling: 5%

Position Requirements

  • 3-5 years of consulting or client-side media experience for a mid- to large-sized national brand
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a Communications-related field
  • Specific experience with digital media planning/execution/reporting.
  • Media planning and buying, both offline and online channels
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Excellent presentation, communication, writing, organization, and management skills
  • Critical thinker with sound decision-making skills
  • Adept at translating research work into meaningful and actionable ideas
