Marketing Manager

Job Overview

The Marketing Manager will lead all marketing initiatives relating to AREA15, its owned and
affiliate activations, experiences, and retail offerings. This experienced individual will be
responsible for developing comprehensive marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives to
drive foot traffic, generate revenue before guest arrival, upsell on-site, and securing repeat
business after guest departure. Responsibilities include developing on-site programs and
marketing promotions to increase revenue, capture data, and ensure repeat visitation. The
individual in this role will create, develop, and execute marketing campaigns and spanning the
entire acquisition and retention funnel to reach locals, tourists, and group attendees.
Critical to the role is creativity, innovation, initiative, resourcefulness and a deep understanding
of retail or experience marketing.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and execute strategic ongoing marketing initiatives and programs to target locals, tourists, and groups to promote AREA15 as a must-see destination in Las Vegas.
  • Plan and implement promotional campaigns to build awareness and drive visitations.
  • Create, manage, and implement all-encompassing PR and marketing plans and programs, both short and long term, to increase revenue, generate foot traffic and build awareness. Collaborate with external PR agency to support ongoing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Build CRM and email database campaigns to increase visitation and ensure repeat business.
  • Work closely with the event, operations, activations, and retail teams to ensure alignment of programming and sales goals.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive marketing campaigns to support ticket sales.
  • Manage and monitor all digital marketing campaigns, paid social, email, and traditional OOH media campaigns for event programming and AREA15 owned & operated businesses.
  • Work directly with all outside agencies to direct support needed for all marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Events, Activations, Operations, and tenant experiences to create and implement a 12-month marketing strategy.
  • Work cross-functionally with ticketing operations, visitor services, events, and operations to ensure event ticketing go on- sale in a coordinated manner.
  • Manage all aspects of the creative campaign process with internal designer and/or freelancers.
  • Plan and execute content strategy for all digital channels.
  • Work closely with the joint-venture businesses within AREA15 – Museum Fiasco,Wink World, & Wild Muse – to help develop and support ongoing marketing initiatives that drive customer awareness before arrival and on-site.
  • Work closely with activations/attractions department to implement sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue for all ticketed attractions and experiences.
  • Develop and implement packages, incentives or events to drive customer traffic to all tenant experiences and activations.
  • Manage Wink World & Wild Muse marketing strategy and campaigns to drive ticket sales.
  • Oversee all reputation and citation management on Google, Yelp, and other digital platforms.
  • Partner with Social Media Manager for social media strategies to grow organic and paid social media channels.
  • Develop, review, update and implement strategic planning of the business, including sales, financial performance; deliver regular reports of campaign results, including evaluation of KPIs/ROI.
  • Proactively keep abreast of current trends and events in marketing, social technologies, new media, and relevant industries (i.e., themed and immersive entertainment).
  • Source and develop industry relationships and brand partnerships in Las Vegas and nationally to promote AREA15 to new audiences.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years professional experience in sales and marketing; experience in Las Vegas preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all aspects of traditional and digital marketing tactics in the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to multi-task and translate creative ideas into action with a clear ROI.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write a marketing plan that communicates high-level strategy and actionable tactics.
  • Team player, willing to do anything to get the job done

  • Detail-oriented, data-driven, with a high degree of financial literacy
  • Must be able to work in a (very) fast-paced environment, multi-task and prioritize, and collaborate closely with multiple business units.
  • Familiarity working with collaboration tools such as Monday, MS Suite inc. Teams, SharePoint, etc.
