Summary & Objective

As a key member of the management team, the Director of Marketing will assume a strategic role in the overall management of the Marketing Department. The Director of Marketing will work with the Chief Marketing Officer to plan, develop and implement all of the organization’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. The Director of Marketing is responsible for directing efforts of the marketing, communications and public relations staff and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the organization.

Essential Functions

  • Provide planning and leadership to the Marketing Department by ensuring that the appropriate structures, systems, competencies and values are developed in order to meet and exceed the goals of the Marketing plan.
  • Assume overall responsibility for developing the annual marketing plan for the organization; for strategic market planning; market research programs; field force activities, and control of the marketing budget.
  • Prepare new product marketing plans for product introductions in cooperation with senior management colleagues.
  • Development and implementation of the brand strategy.
  • Overseeing implementation of the Marketing strategy – including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR.
  • Working closely with the company’s Sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations.
  • Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.
  • Developing and delivering marketing and communications strategies for the organization.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Marketing
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities.
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills.
  • 7 years+ Corporate and/or Marketing Agency experience developing and managing budgets, and hiring, training, developing, supervising and appraising personnel.
  • Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
  • Computer literacy in Mac iOS word processing, database management and page layout.
  • Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Office is located in Summerlin, NV.
