As R&R Partners’ Business Development Growth Director, you will be at the forefront of developing new business opportunities for new and existing clients. You will work alongside a diversely talented and integrated team to identify, generate, and convert prospects into successful client partnerships. Success will be based off set-forth growth goals, along with the ability to integrate and contribute to the agency’s overall goals and vision.


  • Strategic business development: help build upon business development strategic plan and priorities, and then lead business development growth activities for agency.
  • Pipeline Management: achieve new client business by continuously maintaining, networking, and fueling the new business pipeline with new and organic client opportunities.
  • Leadership Integration: collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and support on business development strategies and activities, as well as leverage key partnerships (i.e., House of V innovation arm, Worldwide Partners Inc. independent agency network, etc.)
  • Pitch management: key involvement in and development of winning pitch approaches, outreach, and presentations.
  • Marketing influence: leverage relationships, support marketing strategies, and participate in thought leadership to raise agency profile as it relates to developing and growing new business.
  • Proactively informed: stay a-tuned to industry trends, client & consultant opportunities, competitor activities, and market shifts within advertising/marketing space.
  • Ongoing reporting: communicate regularly to internal teams and use sales performance data to generate reports, analyze results, and present findings to executive leadership team.

  • 5+ years of proven leadership in sales role, ideally including ad agency experience, including maintaining an actionable network of client and consultant contacts.
  • Solid understanding of advertising and marketing landscape including strong knowledge of key agency disciplines of account, strategy, creative, digital, social, public relations, and media.
  • Understanding of maintaining and contributing to internal materials (i.e., sales collateral, case studies, bios, headshots, capabilities, etc.).
  • Experience in managing and maintaining a CRM automation platform (i.e., Hubspot, Salesforce).
  • Preferred strong and persuasive business, relationship building, negotiation, presentation, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
